Body Double® Skin Safe Lifecasting Silicone Rubber

Body Double^® "Standard Set" and Body Double^® "Fast Set" are long lasting skin safe lifecasting silicone rubbers that can be applied directly to the skin to make molds of the face, hands and other body parts.

The rubber cures quickly and will reproduce perfect detail from any original model - far better detail than any alginate.

One Casting or Many . . . For About The Same Price:
Unlike alginates, which are good for one only casting, Body Double^® will last for many castings of almost any material including plaster, Matrix Neo, wax, resins (Smooth-Cast urethanes, polyester, etc.), Low-temperature melt metal alloys, etc. And the amount of Body Double^®

used per mold is less than most alginates, so the cost per mold is about the same.

Body Double® Accessories
Body Double® Accessories	HYPER-FOLIC® Release Additive - HYPER-FOLIC® is a non-toxic, skin conditioning liquid that is mixed with Body Double® silicone mold rubber prior to applying rubber to the skin. HYPER-FOLIC® will not only aid in releasing cured rubber from the skin but will also release cured rubber from hair-covered skin surfaces (closely cropped beards, moustaches, eye-brows, pubic hair, etc.) Body Double Release Cream - Conditioning Cream ensures proper release of Body Double mold rubber. Manual Dispensing Gun - Dispenses 400 ml. cartridges of mold rubber with squeeze of handle. Medical Grade Plaster Bandages - Plaster bandages used as support shell material for Body Double molds - Do Not Use This Product Without Reading the Technical Bulletin and MSDS.

Alja-Safe® Skin Safe Crystalline-Silica Free Alginate

Alja-Safe^® is a new addition to the Smooth-On family of "Life Casting" mold making materials. Alja-Safe^® alginate is suitable for making "temporary" molds of the face, hands and other body parts. (For making re-usable molds of any body part, use "Body Double^®" silicone rubber.)

What's Sets Alja-Safe^® Apart? In addition to being an exceptional skin safe body molding material, Alja-Safe^® alginate does not contain free crystalline silica (a known carcinogen). Alja-Safe^® also captures detail better than other alginates, giving you a more accurate reproduction of your original.

Alja-Safe^® is easy to use and cures quickly. It reproduces fine detail and makes and excellent temporary mold - good for one or two reproductions of any body part. You can then cast plaster, Matrix^® NEO^® (polymer modified gypsum) or Smooth-Cast^® 300Q fast urethane resin into the mold to make a reproduction.

NOTE - ALL SPECIFICATIONS OBTAINED USING 80°F / 23°C WATER

Working time and demold time can be reduced by using warmer water. Cooler water will give a longer working time and extend the demold time.

Gypsona Plaster Bandages - For Creating Quick Support Shells	Plaster bandage material is immersed in water and layered over cured Body Double^® mold rubber or Alja-Safe^® alginate. Bandages dry and form a rigid support shell (or "mother mold") that holds the rubber mold in shape during the casting process. Bandages available in 4" and 8" widths x 5 yards.
