OOMOO® Silicone Rubber - No Scale or Vacuum Chamber Required
OOMOO® 25 & 30 are easy to use silicone rubber compounds that feature convenient one-to-one by volume mix ratios (no scale necessary). Both have very low viscosity for easy mixing and pouring, and vacuum degassing is usually not necessary. Both products cures at room temperature with negligible shrinkage and have good tear strength.

OOMOO® 30 has a 30-minute pot life, with a six-hour cure time. OOMOO® 25 is a faster version, with a 15-minute pot life and 75 minute cure time. OOMOO® 25 & 30 are suitable for a variety of art-related and industrial applications including making molds for sculpture and prototype reproduction, casting plaster, resins and wax.

Mold Max® 15T & 27T Silicones are translucent tin-cured silicone rubber compounds that have exceptional tear strength and working properties and library life. Mold Max® 15T & 27T Silicones feature Smooth-On’s exclusive “Libra” catalyst for long library life. Mold Max® 15T & 27T are translucent clear (no color) and can be used for making molds or creating special effects using Silc Pig silicone pigments.

Mold Max Stroke® is a brushable tin silicone rubber that self-thickens for making fast brush-on molds of almost any model. Properly applied, it will hold a vertical surface and will reproduce the finest detail.

Mixed 100A:10B by weight, rubber quickly develops thixotropy and can be applied with a brush or spatula. Working time is 20 minutes, re-coat time is 45 minutes and cure time after the final layer has been applied is 16 hours at room temperature. Mold Max Stroke® silicone will not stick to most surfaces and will cure with negligible shrinkage to a strong, flexible Shore 30A rubber.

4 thin layers is all that is necessary to make a strong and durable production mold for casting wax, gypsum, concrete or resins (urethane, polyester, etc.). Applications include reproducing sculpture, architectural restoration, making candle molds, casting pewter, etc.

Encapso® K is a water clear encapsulation rubber that looks just like water and is ideal for a variety of encapsulation and display applications.

How Does Encapso® K Work? - Two clear liquids (Part A and Part B) are mixed together in equal amounts. The mixture is then poured around artificial flower stems or over an object. Mixture turns from liquid to a solid, soft rubber over night. When cured, Encapso® K looks just like water and will last a long time.

Applications for Encapso® K

This rubber is perfect for encapsulating artificial flower stems for creating lasting floral displays. You can also pour Encapso® K around just about any inanimate object to encapsulate for display. You can also create a variety of display props and novelty items. Encapso® K can be used to create water/pond effects for small scale model environments. Fully cured Encapso® K can also be crumbled to look like broken glass, diamonds or ice. Add color to Encapso® K with Silc Pig® or Ignite® liquid color pigments.

Rubber GlassTM II is an improved tin-catalyzed silicone rubber product developed specifically for special effects and display applications. Two liquids (3 Parts A + 1 Part B) are mixed together and poured into a container. The mixture cures overnight to a solid water clear rubber that can then be easily broken or “crumbled” into pieces that look exactly like broken glass, ice or diamonds. Vibrant colors are possible by adding SilcPigTM liquid color pigments. Rubber GlassTM II is can be used to create a variety of special effects (i.e. simulated broken glass where human contact is required) and model effects (i.e. simulated ice or water). It can also be used for electronic encapsulation applications.

How is this new formula an improvement over the original Rubber Glass?
