Smooth-On offers two types of mechanical mixers which attach to standard power drills.
Squirrel mixers help you mix Smooth-On liquid rubbers, liquid plastics and Matrix NEO, especially when pouring larger amounts. Use on low RPM setting to avoid introducing too much air into your mix. The Turbine Mixer is a simple design, yet does a better job of mixing Smooth-On rubbers, plastics and foams than any mixer we've tried.It also mixes powder-based Alja Safe™ alginate and Matrix NEO™ with fiber better than any other mixer. Just as important; it is easier to clean vs other mixers that we've tried saving time and labor. The Turbine Mixer is also less expensive vs. other mixers on the market. |

Vacuum Chamber For Vacuuming Liquid Rubbers and Liquid Plastics
Vacuum systems (vacuum chamber and vacuum pump that pulls 29 inches of mercury) are used to remove the air from high viscosity materials like silicone rubber before pouring. They are also ideal for vacuum degassing liquid plastics (such as Crystal Clear™ plastic) for making bubble free castings.
This easy to use vacuum chamber is tough aluminum. The lid is made from shatter resistant acrylic and features a rubber gasket that creates a positive, air tight seal for maximum vacuum.
Inside dimension of vacuum chamber; 14" (35.56 cm) diameter opening x 15" (38.1 cm) tall. . .can accommodate up to a 5 gallon pail.
Easy to read gauge let's you know if your vacuum pump is pulling the required 29" of mercury.
