How can I keep from sweating the Skin Tite® off?

Perspiration will affect all makeup prosthetic adhesives, and Skin Tite® is no exception. Using a barrier on the skin such as Premiere Products Top Guard or Michael Davy's Sweat Stop before using Skin Tite® will help adhesion.

Another recommendation is to wait until the Skin Tite® silicone is more fully cured before applying the piece. Often times people apply the piece when the Skin Tite® is uncured, causing their model to begin to perspire right away. Waiting a few minutes until the Skin Tite® is more cured can help.

The FAQ list is offered as a guideline and offers possible solutions to problems encountered during mold making and casting. No warranty is implied and it is up to the end user to determine suitability for any specific application. Always refer to the provided Technical Bulletins (TB) & Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) before using any material. A small scale test is suggested to determine suitability of any recommendation before trying on a larger scale for any application.
