Idol Jars For 'The Mummy'

When it came time to produce translucent "idol" jars for the film The Mummy, Smooth-Cast® 327 was chosen for its translucency and ease of pigmentation. The jars were then faux finished, painted and gold leaf was added.
The jars are translucent, giving them an ethereal glow. The translucency is thanks to the Smooth Cast 327 used for the castings.
