Create Spectacular Metallic and Glitter Effects Quickly With Cast Magic® Casting System
Cast Magic® Casting System is an easy way to add an endless variety of bright metallic, glitter and color effects to your castings. Castings are durable and UV / weather resistant. Ideal for making signs, displays, special effects, etc. Also good for reproducing sculpture and adding different effects to models and prototypes.
Save time and labor with the Cast Magic® System. You can create spectacular effects in a matter of minutes vs. hours or days of hand tooling and finishing. And, from one rubber mold, you can make one casting or many....that's Cast Magic®!
1 - Pearly Green Cast Magic® Powder is applied with a soft brush.
2 - Cast Magic® is brushed onto the surface of a Mold Max® 30 Silicone mold.
3 - Thoroughly coat all surfaces of the mold. Pay particular attention to deep detail and the mold side walls.
4 - Remove any excess powder by gently tapping the inverted mold.
5 - Smooth-Cast ®300 resin, Part B, is carefully measured then poured into the mixing container.
6 - A few drops of So-Strong® Black tint is added to the Smooth-Cast® resin Part B.
7 - The So-Strong® tint is thoroughly mixed into the Smooth-Cast® 300 resin Part B.
8 - Smooth-Cast® 300 resin, Part A, is carefully measured and poured into the mixing container.
9 - Mix Smooth-Cast® 300 resin Part A
10 - Carefully pour the mixed Smooth-Cast® 300 resin into a single spot in the mold.
11 - Allow the material to slowly flow around the mold, completely filling the mold cavity.
12 - Allow the Smooth-Cast® 300 resin to cure for a minimum of 20 minutes.
13 - Once cured, remove the casting from the mold.
14 - Bottle made with Smooth-Cast® 300 resin and Cast Magic® Red Devil.
15 - Zeus Head made with Foam-it!® 5 and Cast Magic® Bronzonker.
