Caribbean Cast Stone Adds Touch of Class to Plaza In Puerto Rico
Caribbean Cast Stone, Inc. began construction on a new $10 million plaza in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. Production manager Edwardo Nunez called upon Smooth-On to find out what he could use to make molds of his hand carved ornamental pieces, which will be placed in the front walkway of the main plaza entrance.

He was introduced to VytaFlex® 30 urethane mold rubber, which has superior physical and performance properties for casting concrete. Caribbean Cast Stone, Inc. was extremely pleased with the performance of Smooth-On's rubber and has continued to use the rubber on other projects in and around Puerto Rico.
