Smooth-On Mold Rubbers Hit A Home Run With The New Chukchansi Stadium Project
The Fresno Grizzlies are a minor league baseball team based in Fresno, California. The Grizzlies play in Chukchansi Park located in downtown Fresno and was constructed in 2002. The $46 million facility has 12,500 seats. In addition to baseball, the stadium is used for soccer, musical concerts and motorcycle supercross. Clovis Architectural Stone out of Clovis California helped in the construction of the new facility by utilizing Smooth-On rubber molds for the stadium’s façade, benches and walkways. ReoFlex® mold rubbers hit a home run by handling the tough demands of multiple castings in order to have the stadium done on time.
Smooth-On's ReoFlex® 50 mold rubber was used to cast multiple bench tops in record time.
Curved concrete benches installed in front of stadium's main entrance.
