Production Tire Molds Begin with Polysulfide Castable Mold Rubber
FMC® Castable Polysulfide Mold Rubbers have been used for years to make tire pattern molds. They continue to be used today by Goodyear, Bridgestone, Firestone and other major tire manufacturers around the world.
Cast segments gypsum taken from FMC® Polysulfide rubber molds come together to form a complete tire from which steel molds will be made for large scale production of tires.
