How To Make a Hollow Resin Casting Using Smooth‑Cast™ 57D

Overview

This is a method of casting a hollow impact resistant piece. We used Smooth-Cast™ 57D to "slush" the 1st coat followed by an additional layer of Smooth-Cast™ 57D to get the final thickness of ~1/4". So-Strong™ Black tint was added to give a base color to the resin. We cast this piece into a Dragon Skin™ 10 1-piece mold.
