Watch how a CNC-routed prototype turns into a durable urethane finished product. A 3D model of the the prototype is routed out of tooling board on a large-format CNC machine. Dragon Skin™ 20 platinum silicone colored with Silc Pig™ silicone colorants is poured to make the mold. Simpact™ 85A semi-rigid urethane colored with UVO™ UV-resistant colorants is used as the casting material. The result is a tough, durable and flexible mat suitable for high-production sifting environments.
