Ecoflex™ 5

Ecoflex™ rubbers are platinum-catalyzed silicones that are versatile and easy to use. Ecoflex™ rubbers are mixed 1A:1B by weight or volume and cured at room temperature with negligible shrinkage.  Low viscosity ensures easy mixing and de-airing. Dispense using our convenient dispensing cartridges. Cured rubber is very soft, very strong and very “stretchy”, stretching many times its original size without tearing and will rebound to its original form without distortion.

TASK™ 14

TASK™ 14 is a fast setting two-component urethane that cures quickly to black semi-rigid plastic. TASK™ 14 offers a longer pot life (10 minutes) and demold time of 45 minutes.

With a Shore value of 50D, these semi-rigid plastics are used for a variety of industrial applications including fast mold making, fast model duplication, prototyping, durable miniatures, black props and special effects, or making parts that are impact resistant. Fully cured castings are tough, durable and chemical resistant.

For Best Results… Do not cast TASK™ 14 into platinum cure (addition cure) silicone molds.

FMC™ 200

FMC™-200 is a polysulfide rubber mold compound with high tear strength that cures overnight with negligible shrinkage. Molds made of FMC™-200 are very durable and will perform in production. The mix ratio is 100 parts of Part A to 12 parts of Part B by weight. FMC™-200 cures to a Shore hardness of 20 A.

FMC™-200 is ideal for those applications that require capturing intricate detail from a variety of model surfaces. Unlike polyurethanes, FMC™-200 is not sensitive to moisture and can be poured directly over wet plaster or water/sulfur based clays. Common applications include molds for foundry and pattern work, sculpture (lost wax process), casting various gypsum products and waxes.
