Smooth-Sil™ 960 is a Shore 60A platinum cure silicone rubber developed for a variety of industrial applications. Compared to other 60A platinum silicones, Smooth-Sil™ 960 has a relatively low viscosity and is easy to mix, de-air and pour. Silicone cures in 16 hours with negligible shrinkage to a firm rubber with high tensile and tear strength.
Smooth-Sil™ 960 offers good chemical and heat resistance, making this a good choice for production casting of resins and expanding foams. Because of its firmness, Smooth-Sil™ 960 molds are also used for spin casting. It is also used for embedding and electrical applications. Smooth-Sil™ 960 is suitable for food related applications.
Note: This product will not cure against surfaces containing sulfur, even when sealed.
Free Form™AIR is an extremely lightweight epoxy putty suitable for an infinite variety of industrial and art-related applications. This is a low-odor, low shrinkage putty that is unique, inexpensive and easy to use. Free Form™AIR is mixed by hand with a 1A:1B by volume or weight mix ratio. It offers a long working time and cures overnight at room temperature to a hard, rigid epoxy that is very strong. Cured Free Form™AIR is so lightweight, it will float in water. It can be sanded, shaped, and drilled. It will readily accept any paint. Free Form can also be color pigmented with UVO™ or Ignite™ colorants.
