California Proposition 65

California's Proposition 65, also known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, requires businesses to provide warning to California consumers if they may be exposed to chemicals known or suspected to cause cancer, birth defects, or reproductive harm. As of August 2018, California has listed more than 900 chemicals subject to Prop 65 regulations, which can be found in many common household products, food, drugs, dyes, or solvents.
