Project Details
During the COVID-19 crisis, ATTA quickly shifted their facility and labor resources to mold making and production casting of visor support frames that are used to make visor masks. They will donate thousands of units to protect New York City first responders, hospital personnel and other professionals on the front lines battling the virus.

Mold Max 20 silicone rubber was used to make “gang” molds.  Molds were used to cast rigid resin frames out of TASK 21 liquid plastic.

The material requirement in making these frames was that the cured plastic had to withstand taking a beating in first responder situations and medical environments/conditions.  TASK 21 met all requirements.
