Forton® VF-774 is the world-wide standard concrete additive for making lightweight GFRC, Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete, panels. It is recognized by the PCI as the only polymer supported with a 20 year durability study.
Forton® VF-812 is an alpha gypsum additive that makes gypsum far stronger and more weather resistant. Offering a lower cost alternative to resins, you can cast solid or make lightweight architectural elements and sculpture castings by reinforcing with glass fiber that are suitable for outdoor display. A variety of casting effects are possible including marble, metal, stone and more.
All acrylic, co-polymer dispersion (51% solids) specifically formulated for the GFRC production process. VF‑774 is UV stable. It is further formulated to be stable and durable in the high pH Portland cement-based GFRC composite. Durability of the GFRC composite, especially the maintenance of the long-term flexural strain to failure property, i.e. ductility of the composite is based on a 20 year independent test program. PCI Compliance with Appendix G of MNL 130, the Manual for Quality Control for Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete Products from the PCI for the elimination of the seven day wet cure.
Specially formulated, all acrylic co-polymer which cross-links with a dry melamine resin to make the Forton® MG moisture resistant and UV stable. FMG® is a unique combination of high-strength alpha hemi-hydrate gypsum with water based polymer chemistry that is reinforced with “E” glass fiber. FMG® is the first technology to make gypsum an exterior product, when painted or sealed, and is certified as meeting the ASTM E-84, Class A (or 1) flame rating for building materials.
